Incorporate Pearl-Ex pigments into any viscous medium like oil, acrylic, gouache, varnish, wax, paper pulp, or clay. Use them for collage and mixed media art, calligraphy, faux-finishing, sculpture, papermaking, candle making, pottery, and more.
Pearlescent colours are difficult to show on screen or in print. These are the closest approximations we can manage! Duo colours - show the first colour on light clay, the second colour on dark clay and can be used for interesting effects.
Interference colours behave like oil on water and give a strong effect on dark clay ranging to pastel on white clay.
Make sure you take precautions when using PearlEx powders. Always wear protection over your nose and mouth to prevent inhaling particles. It can be a nuisance, but safety is always first.
